Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the rz.pe registry and related services operated by IndiaHost Cloud Technologies OPC Private Limited, a One Person Company incorporated in Odisha, India (CIN U62099OD2025OPC050138) ("we", "us", the "Registry"). By registering an rz.pe name or using our registry, WHOIS, RDAP, or API services, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
We operate rz.pe as a managed subdomain registry. A registered name is delegated to your nameservers through NS records in the rz.pe zone. We do not host, control, or review the content served under your name. The service covers the delegation and the registry systems only.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate registration and contact details and keep them current. Reseller and API access is granted at our discretion and may be subject to IP whitelisting, signed API keys, and rate limits. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account or keys.
3. Registration of names
Names are screened before creation and may be refused for any reason, including similarity to reserved or protected brands. Registration of a name does not grant you any trademark or other intellectual-property right, and does not authorise you to impersonate any party. We may reclaim or reassign a name that infringes a third party's rights or violates our policies.
4. Acceptable use
Your use of any rz.pe name is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. Breaching that policy is a breach of these terms.
5. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or remove a name, or sinkhole its delegation, where we believe it is being used in breach of our policies or applicable law, or in response to a credible abuse report, a court order, or a request from a competent authority. Severe cases may be actioned without prior notice. We may also suspend reseller or API access for abuse, non-payment, or security reasons.
6. Fees
Where a name or service carries a fee, the fee and its terms are stated at the point of purchase. Fees already paid are generally non-refundable once a name is provisioned, except where required by law or stated otherwise.
7. Service availability
We work to keep the registry and its nameservers available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses, and costs arising from your use of an rz.pe name or breach of these terms, including claims by third parties relating to content served under your name.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bhubaneswar, Odisha have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
