Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
This policy governs every name registered under rz.pe and the use of the rz.pe registry, WHOIS, RDAP, and API services operated by IndiaHost Cloud Technologies OPC Private Limited ("we", "us", the "Registry"). By registering or using an rz.pe name you agree to this policy. We may update it from time to time, and continued use means you accept the current version.
1. Nature of the service
rz.pe names are delegated to the registrant's own nameservers. The Registry operates the parent zone and holds the delegation. We do not host the content served under your name. You are responsible for everything that resolves under your rz.pe name.
2. Prohibited uses
You must not use an rz.pe name, or allow it to be used, for any of the following:
- Phishing and credential theft, including pages that imitate a bank, wallet, payment gateway, login, or any brand to collect credentials or payment details.
- Malware and exploits, including hosting, distributing, or commanding malware, ransomware, spyware, or botnets.
- Brand and trademark impersonation, including names or content that imitate a company or product you are not authorised to represent. Reserved brand terms are blocked at registration and may be reclaimed at any time.
- Fraud and scams, including fake stores, investment or lottery scams, and deceptive payment flows.
- Spam, including using a name in unsolicited bulk email, SMS, or messaging, or as a redirect in such campaigns.
- Child sexual abuse material, which is removed immediately and reported to authorities.
- Illegal content under the laws of India or the registrant's jurisdiction.
- Technical abuse, including using a name to attack, probe, or overload any system, or to evade a prior suspension.
Names that echo a well-known brand, including payment, banking, telecom, and government brands, are reserved and screened. A name passing the automated screen is not permission to impersonate any party.
3. Screening at registration
Every requested name is checked against a list of reserved terms and known abuse patterns, including visually confusing variants. We may refuse any name at our discretion, and refusal does not need to be explained.
4. Enforcement
When we receive a credible report or detect abuse, we may suspend a name by removing or sinkholing its delegation, with or without prior notice depending on severity. Clear phishing, malware, and child-safety cases are suspended on sight. Other cases usually get a short window to remediate before suspension. We keep a record of enforcement actions.
5. Reporting
Report abuse at nic.rz.pe/abuse or email abuse@india.ke. We aim to triage reports promptly and respond to the reporter where an address is given.
6. No waiver
Our choice not to act on a particular matter does not waive our right to act on it or on any other matter later.
